All of us at VanderCook College of Music extend our sympathies to Steve's family. Although I never had the chance to meet Steve, I know his classmates held him in the highest regard. He made this world a better place through his life and his life's work. May all be comforted in this time of great sorrow.

I am so sorry to hear this. Steve & I went to VanderCook College together when I went to school there back in 1985. I had so many good memories of him. He will be truly missed.
